Eunice Ada Swenson
Eunice Ada Swenson, 100, died Jan. 18, 2007, at Elim Care and Rehab, Princeton.
She was born Nov. 17, 1906, in Baldwin Township, Sherburne County, on the Townsend Farm to George W. and Maude (Richardson) Townsend. She grew up and was educated in rural Princeton and graduated from high school in Princeton.
She married Marvin Swenson Nov. 15, 1926, in Elk River. They lived in Baldwin Township for many years before moving into Princeton.
She was employed at Shirkey's Restaurant, Princeton, Twin Cities Arsenal, Arden Hills, and Princeton School District as a cook until she retired.
She moved to Elim Care and Rehab in 1995.
Survivors include her son Loren "Bud" Swenson, Princeton; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and a great-granddaughter.
A graveside service was May 4, at Baldwin Cemetery, Princeton.
