Russell John Thronson
Russell John Thronson, 55, Silver Bay, formerly of Princeton, died at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He was born Jan. 2, 1952, in Princeton, to Kerrel and Helen (Norman) Thronson. He attended school in Princeton until moving to Silver Bay in 1963. He graduated from William M. Kelley High School in 1970.
He was employed at Reserve Mining before entering St. Cloud State College. He then entered technical school in Staples and Bismarck, N.D.
He became employed at Collins Electronics, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1978, and later at Source Data Systems. He also did computer work at his home.
Survivors include his mother, Silver Bay, and brother Eugene, Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his father and friend Karen Pawlowski.
A private burial was conducted in Cedar Rapids.
