Aloysius Singer
Aloysius Singer, 84, Zimmerman, died June 22, 2007, at his home on Blue Lake.
He was born Dec. 22, 1922, in St. Paul, to Anton and Pauline (Heider) Singer and grew up and was educated there.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Florence Celski at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, St. Paul, in 1944. They lived in St. Paul until they moved, 40 years ago, to Zimmerman.
Survivors include his brothers, Joe, Zimmerman, Pete, St. Paul, and Steve, North Oaks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers Anthony and Albert, and sisters Theresa, Elizabeth and Pauline.
The funeral was June 27, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Zimmerman.
Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
