Joseph Galarneault
Joseph Galarneault, 73, died at his home near Foreston on Feb. 22, 2006.
He was born March 18, 1932, the son of John and Helen (Kaproth) Galarneault in Foley. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Doreen Malikowski May 21, 1956, in Gilman.
He was employed at Franklin Mfg. Co. for 42 years and retired in 1995.
Survivors include his wife; sons Rick, Princeton, and Joseph, Jr., Milaca; sisters Marge Mattox, Coon Rapids, Sue Galarneault, Plymouth, Janet Ness, Longville, and Pat Kavanagh, Willmar; brothers Ralph, Escondido, Calif., and James, Surprise, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was Feb. 27, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Foreston, with Rev. Jim Remmerswaal and Rev. James Cashman, officiating.
Music was provided by Marion Katke and the church choir.
Pallbearers were Trenton, Colton and Kyle Galarneault, Kim Nutting, Jerry Mattox and Cliff Ness.
Burial was at St. Louis Cemetery.
