Edna Sager
Edna Ethelyn Sager, 89, Cambridge, formerly of Princeton, died Oct. 6, 2005, at Cambridge Health Care Center, Cambridge.
She was born June 18, 1916, in Maywood Township (Benton County), the daughter of Nels and Anna (Rodin) Forschen. She grew up in Ronneby and attended country school there. She married Gerald Sager June 30, 1934. They lived in Princeton where they farmed.
Survivors include sons Henry, Gerald Jr., Howard, and William, all of Princeton, Richard, Cambridge, and Marty, Plymouth; daughters MaryAnn Gillette, Princeton, Elaine Holland, Harris, Lorna Bursch, Cambridge, Caroline Bendickson, Brook Park, Marjorie Olson, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Kimberly Klein, Barstow, Calif.; 63 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Daniel and daughter Colleen Olson.
The funeral was Oct. 10 at Cambridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Erling Tungseth officiating.
Pallbearers were Tim Holland, Richy Gillette, Robert Bendickson, Dan Kuntz, Eddy, Duane, Todd, and Jacob Sager, Justin Winkelman, and Brian and Jeremy Olson. Music was by Zack Kuntz and Barb Ryan.
Burial was at Cambridge Union Cemetery.
