A son, Maddex Lee, 7 pounds, 14 ounces, was born Dec. 28, 2004, at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital, Princeton, to Molly and Marlowe Pope, Milaca. Grandparents are Blaine and Janet Benson, Princeton; and Karen and Larry Pope of Blackduck. Great-grandparents are Orville and Kathleen Burke, and Edgar and Helen Siekert, all of Princeton.
