Notice of Public Accuracy Test
The County of Mille Lacs will test the electronic voting machine to be used for the vote tabulation in the General election to be held November 2, 2004. The test will be held on Friday, October 29th at 2:00 p.m. The test will be conducted at the Mille Lacs County Auditor-Treasurer's Office, County Courthouse, 635 2nd St. SE, Milaca, MN 56353. The public is invited to attend.

Snowplowing Policy for Princeton Township
Mille Lacs County
1. Snowplowing will not be done unless more than three inches have fallen. The Township will not send snowplows out until snowfall has stopped unless it is an extended snowfall. The snowplows will not be sent out in situations where it would be hazardous because of visibility.
2. The clearing of snow from the road will be as follows: One pass will be made on the main arteries throughout the Township, then the secondary arteries will be plowed on the return pass.
3. The Township will not be responsible for mailboxes or fences unless they are physically hit by equipment and they were properly located and installed.
4. Township residents are reminded to remove parked vehicles from Township roads to assist in snow removal.
5. Township residents are reminded that it is unlawful to plow snow from a driveway across a public road. Piles of snow left on or near the traveled portion of the road can freeze in a solid mass creating a hazardous situation for vehicles and snowplows. Accidents and damages caused by snow piles placed in a roadway may result in liability to the landowner. Under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 160.27, Subdivision 5, violation of statutes is a misdemeanor.
Minnesota State Statutes:
Subd. 5. Misdemeanors. (a) Except for the actions of the road authorities, their agents, employees, contractors, and utilities in carrying out their duties imposed by law or contract, and except as herein provided, it shall be unlawful to:
(1) Obstruct any highway or deposit snow or ice thereon;
